Hacienda Los Molinos

Dear International Living reader, Every day or so I receive an EMail along these lines: “Panama’s great…except for the weather”. Well I’m here to tell you that in Boquete, it’s just plain great. That’s why I’m creating a premier community here, and why it’s been so successful.  My name is Jorge Conte, and together with the Troetsch family, we are the developer of Hacienda Los Molinos, one of the leading projects in this booming part of the country.

Scenic beauty in one of the world’s top retirement locations
To fully imagine the beauty of Los Molinos, you first need to understand the beauty of Boquete, a small town of 20,000 people surrounded by a region which is widely thought to be Panama’s most beautiful. Boquete serves as a centerpiece for an area in the Chiriquí province known for its dramatic mountain scenery, lush, green rainforests, pure rushing rivers, and above all, year-round pleasant weather. It’s no wonder that AARP has chosen Boquete as the world’s 4th best place to retire.

Rincón Beach Estates by Istana Properties

When you’re ready to leave the high rises and return to nature, we’ve got the home for you

My name is Susannah Elmore. When my father-in-law, Gary Elmore, retired from Dell and came to visit Panama a couple of years ago he fell in love with it—no two ways about it. He not only wanted to settle here; he wanted to be a part of the boom going on in Panama as well. But he wasn’t interested in competing with the high-rise condos closer in to Panama City—not because there aren’t some fine projects down there, but because his heart wasn’t in it. Frankly, he was looking for nature, peace and tranquility. So Gary moved further along the coast, and found his dream property at Rincon Beach Estates.

Playa Blanca Hotel and Resort

We’ve got the most sunshine in Panama

Most people outside of Panama have never heard of the Arco Seco (which means "Dry Arc" in Spanish) but it’s an important term in Panama’s tourist industry. It’s a unique location where it rains notably less than it does anywhere else in the country. This is where we enjoy Panama’s best weather, with mild temperatures and lots of sunshine, while being only 20 minutes from the rainforest. It’s location in Arco Seco was one of the primary reasons our site was chosen for Playa Blanca resort.

Another reason is that we’re only 1 hour 15 minutes—on excellent highways—from Panama City, with its conveniences and airport. But most importantly, we’ve got more than an entire mile of beautiful, white sand beach—with a great view of Chirú Island—as the centerpiece of our 210 acre property. Our 82 residents enjoy strolling, jogging, or just taking a refreshing dip in the calm, warm waters.

But the fabulous beach and sunny weather are only the beginning.

Playa Serena

Beachfront tranquility at Panama City’s doorstep

We’d like to introduce you to a lifestyle alternative that we feel is among the best for those who’d like to live either part time or full time here in Panama: Playa Serena beach side paradise. We believe that we’re offering one of the best and most cost-effective alternatives available here on the coast.

Let me tell you why.

First and foremost, we’re on one of Panama’s premier beaches, Playa Gorgona. At our beach you can hear the calm, warm Pacific waters lap gently against the shores against a background of parrots and songbirds calling from the nearby trees. Located at the base of a sweeping bay, the ocean is always tranquil and safe for swimming, even for the very old and very young. The white sand beach heads off in both directions,
with overhanging trees at the water’s edge.

Tucán Country Club and Resort

Where the rainforest meets the fairway

I’m Dinesh Vaswani, and I think I’ve got the most unique and exciting project going in Panama today, and the one that will give you the best long-term value. Sound like a strong statement? Let me explain.

At the core of my project is a brand new 18-hole golf course, around which I’m offering a wide variety of building lots and available home choices. But it’s not just any golf course; it’s the only golf course in Panama City. What’s more, I’ve teamed up with Jeffrey Myers, a designer of world-class standing, to design and build an 18-hole, par-72 championship course second to none. Construction has almost been completed by Gregori International group, creator of first-rate courses in the US and around the world.

Vista Mar

Golf and Resort Community

Just over a year ago, I was in the same position that many of you are in today. I was considering changing my life and starting a whole new adventure abroad. Now I’ve done it…and I’ve done it in one of the world’s most beautiful and exotic locations; Panama’s Vista Mar. My name is Donna Hawley, and I’d like to tell you why Vista Mar is where my husband Jim and I choose to work and live, and why it may be just right for you.

First of all, we’re just 56 miles from Panama City and 10 miles from Coronado, so you’re not isolated from the conveniences of the real world. This 500 acre property is not only a family owned business, but the owners—brothers Rolando and Victor Shahani—have decided to make their homes here as well.

The 15 Best Lifestyle Buys in Nicaragua Right Now

People ask me all the time, “What’s the best property for me to buy in Nicaragua?” Unfortunately, there’s no straightforward answer.
Everyone has his or her own specific needs, wants, and desires. You might value privacy above anything else, and opt for a secluded,
private beach house. Or, if you’re the type of person that thrives on community spirit, a condo in a small beach town may be just the
ticket. You might want to buy land now and hold onto it for later. Or maybe you’d just like to build your dream home…and put down roots in a sunnier clime.

Rancho Los Labradores

The Master Plan

Rancho Los Labradores is much more than a simple country development. It is a different and unique concept that could be described
through three great ideas: An exclusive Country Club, a Luxurious residential development and a Convenient Commercial Area enriched
by a very special cultural touch. These three elements give life to a ''Community'' formed by people that have the same beliefs in sharing, enjoying and learning about all the different chapters of life.

Playa Las Tortugas

Two hours north of the hip, bustling beach scene of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico lies a place where the only crowds consist of feeding
birds and nesting turtles. Playa Las Tortugas defines a fresh style of development along the newly designated Costa Tortuga
(Turtle Coast,) a destination of unspoiled beauty and responsible upscale community.

San Gabriel Villas

Located at the "Golden Corridor"

"San Gabriel Villas is an active-adult community conceptualized by Aavan Pro Retirement Villas Mexico to provide a healthy
balance of tranquility, cordiality and stimulating recreational activity for its residents. Sight-seeing and other activities are available
within the local ambiance of the two surrounding cities of San Miguel de Allende and Dolores Hidalgo. The good life in the ‘Golden
Corridor’ is easily accessible through two international airports. One hour and 15 minutes away in the bustling city of Querétaro,
the other in Leon (the shoe and leather capital of Mexico), 45 minutes away. To the west, Dolores Hidalgo, famous for its pottery
and referred to as the ‘Birthplace of Mexican Independence’ is an easy 7.5mi. drive, offering the closest shopping center, Soriana,
and the Mexican Red Cross.
